A few weeks on from the Security Exhibition & Conference 2026, it's clear the event delivered far more than just a showcase of the latest technology. It brought together customers, suppliers, integrators, consultants and industry peers from across Australia and New Zealand, creating an opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas and explore the trends shaping the future of security.

For the Wesco Anixter Australia and New Zealand teams, our partnership with Inner Range created a vibrant hub of activity throughout the three-day event. Visitors had the opportunity to experience integrated security solutions firsthand, see live demonstrations and gain insight into how connected technologies are helping address the evolving needs of the industry.

Looking back, one of the biggest takeaways from the event was the level of engagement across the exhibition floor. From discussions around emerging technologies and system integration to conversations about upcoming projects and industry challenges, Security  Exhibition & Conference reinforced the value of bringing the security community together in person.

Away from the exhibition floor, our inaugural Walk, Connect, WIN event, hosted through Wesco Anixter's Women's Impact Network (WIN), was another highlight of the week. Held before the final day of the exhibition, the event brought together women from across the industry for a relaxed morning walk, coffee and networking around Sydney Harbour, providing an additional opportunity to build connections and strengthen our industry community.

The ideas, partnerships and opportunities that emerged throughout the 3 days of the show continue to shape discussions across the industry as time moves forward.
