DESFire EV3 has been added to the MIFARE DESFire family of smart card chipsets from NXP. This addition introduces more features that HID have taken full advantage of.
The HID-802HPROG high security profile credential utilises impressive security features with HID Signo readers on the latest firmware and is custom programmed by HID.
HID DESFire EV3 cards leverage security features including AES128 encryption, secure channel-based file transfer and proximity check to protect card data from attacks.
