The LOX-R40 door hold open magnets are operating on a fail-safe principle similar to common electromagnetic locking devices. Doors equipped with the LOX-R40 hold open magnets are perfect on doors in an open and frequently used position. They allow the general public and pedestrians ease of access and can be released by dropping the power to the device. The R40 series devices are wall mounted.
